Tell us about yourself

Hello, I'm Helene, and I have an MA in History and an MSc in Library Management. I juggle a full-time job with writing two blogs - TudorBlogger and BookBloggerish - and I love to cross stitch and read. I also have two little writing buddies in the form of my cats, Ink and Rowena. Tell us about your books

I've just finished writing my first book which will be published by Pen and Sword, publication date to be announced, and I am so excited! The title of the book is 'Elizabethan Rebellions: Conspiracy, Intrigue, and Treason' and examines the likes of the Northern Rebellion, the Ridolfi, Throckmorton, and Babington Plots, and the Essex Rebellion, and how these impacted on Elizabeth I and her queenship. It was so much fun to write and I found out plenty of things I didn't know before which was even better. What projects are you currently working on?

I've just started a new job so currently writing has taken a bit of a back seat, but I will be starting work on my second book within a month or two, though I'm not revealing what it is yet. Needless to say it will be on the Tudors, and will stretch across all of the Tudor monarchs, so that's something I'm really excited to get stuck into! You can follow me on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, or all three if you fancy, for more updates!

Where can we buy your book?

My book will be available to purchase from the Pen and Sword website and from other retailers, closer to the time of publication. These details will be added to my website and social media channels as and when details become available.
