History Author Spotlight - Victoria Landis

Today's History Author Spotlight guest is Victoria Landis.

Tell us about yourself

I'm an author, editor, and artist. Mom of 3 grown sons. Proudly now in my 60s, Nana to 3 tiny humans. I love painting & digital art - I do book covers and graphics for selected people. I love editing almost more than writing. (Go figure) I enjoy 'big picture' editing or doctoring very much. My clients - whether for art or editing - come on a word of mouth basis, and that keeps me busy. I live in Key Largo.

Tell us about your books

I have 4 books out. Blinke It Away is a mystery set on Oahu, where I lived for 12 years.

Alias: Mitzi & Mack is a dramedy about a retired couple in the Palm Beaches area of FL who lose all their nest egg & have to resort to crime.

A Little Bit Sideways is a collection of humorous essays.

JORDAN is a novel about what would happen if, in this world of instant viral media, a true miracle healer showed up. It placed 2nd in over 6 writing competitions.

What are your current projects?

A historical novel (sort of Ken Follett-like) set in 1400s Toulouse, France. Been researching for a couple years. 1463 was nothing like what people think they know about medieval times. It was very different from the 1300s, and also from the 1500s. I'm having a ball with this one. I see it as a trilogy, following the rise of a family into the nobility and great wealth.

Where can we buy your books?

All my books are available in paperback or ebook on Amazon. JORDAN is available just about everywhere.
